4 mil or 5 mil?
4 mil is the usual step up from 3 mil for ribs, roasts with bone, and whole fish. 5 mil adds extra puncture resistance for the sharpest pieces. Thicker film can need a little longer seal time on some machines, so check your sealer settings. Our 3, 4 or 5 mil guide goes deeper.
