3 mil Chamber Vacuum Sealer Pouches

3 mil chamber vacuum sealer pouches are the everyday choice for portions of meat, poultry, cheese, vegetables and prepared foods in a chamber machine. They are smooth (not embossed), so they only work in chamber sealers; see chamber vs FoodSaver-type bags if you are not sure which you have. We stock 27 sizes from 4 x 6 to 24 x 36 inches, in cases of 250 to 3,000.

How to pick a size

Measure the product at its thickest point and add room for the seal: leave at least an inch of empty pouch above the food, and a little more if your sealer has a wide seal bar. Make sure the pouch width fits inside your chamber with the lid closed. Not sure? Contact us and we will help you match a size.

When to step up to a thicker pouch

If you are packing bone-in cuts, fish with spines, or anything sharp, move to a 4 or 5 mil heavy-duty pouch. Our 3, 4 or 5 mil guide explains the trade-offs.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use these in a FoodSaver-style sealer?

No. These pouches are smooth and made for chamber machines. External (suction-channel) sealers need embossed bags.

Are 3 mil pouches strong enough for the freezer?

Yes for most boneless foods. Choose 4 mil or thicker for sharp or bony items.
