Berkel vs Sipromac vs Webomatic: Which Parts Fit Your Machine?
Share
If you own a Berkel chamber vacuum sealer, the brand name alone may not tell you which replacement part fits. Some Berkel machines were built by Sipromac and others by Webomatic, and their parts are not interchangeable by default. This guide shows how to work out which one you have and where to look for parts.
Berkel and Sipromac
Sipromac custom branded machines for Berkel, so the Model 350/350D, 420A, 550A, 600A and 620A chamber sealers are the same machines whether the nameplate says Berkel or Sipromac. That is why many parts are listed as Sipromac/Berkel on our site: lid springs, seal bladders, control boards, gaskets, the control cable and memory battery, and most seal wire. A few parts are listed under the Sipromac name only, such as the 2.5mm concave seal wire and the Model 350 seal bar.
Webomatic-built Berkel machines are different
Not every machine sold under the Berkel name was built by Sipromac. Our product pages reflect this. The 4mm concave wire is listed for Webomatic-built Berkel machines, and the Berkel (Webomatic) lid hydraulic is for Webomatic Model C50D, sold under the Berkel name. They use a different seal wire combination from Sipromac-built Berkel machines, so confirm which company built yours before ordering seal wire.
Rebadging happens elsewhere too: our Bizerba (Komet) lid hydraulic is for a machine sold by Bizerba and Koch and made by Komet. The takeaway: identify the maker and the model, not just the badge.
How to identify your machine
- Look for the model plate and note the brand, model and any serial number.
- Check any markings on the part you are replacing.
- Search the model in the matching collection below. Product titles name the models they fit.
- If the plate does not make the manufacturer clear, contact us with the brand and model number before ordering.
What to gather before you order
- Your model number, such as 350, 350D, 420A, 550A, 600A or 620A.
- Whether the nameplate says Sipromac or Berkel (either is fine; it helps us confirm).
- The part you are replacing, with any visible part number.
- For seal wire, the profile: flat, concave or double seal. These are not interchangeable.

Prefer to search by model number? See our Berkel, Sipromac and Webomatic parts by model page, which lists parts for the 350/350D, 420A, 550A, 600A and 620A and the control boards.
Parts where the model matters most
- Seal wires: the combination differs between Sipromac-built and Webomatic-built Berkel machines. See how to choose a seal wire.
- Lid springs and hydraulics: listed per model. See checking the lid spring.
- Control boards and key boards: matched pairs, not mix-and-match. The MC-30 board goes with the KB-30 key board, and the MC-40 with the KB-40.
- Seal bladders: the 420A uses a smaller bladder than the 550A/600A/620A line, and the number per machine varies (two for the 550A, four for the 600A and 620A).
Common mistakes
- Assuming every Berkel was built by the same maker.
- Assuming a part for one brand fits another because it looks similar.
- Ordering a spring or wire without checking the model named in the product title.
